Bikes Not Bombs
Bikes Not Bombs is a non-profit organization working for alternative transportation and community development. The group operates
the Bicycle Recycling and Youth Training Center in Roxbury, MA, to promote environmental education, meaningful employment, and safe
sustainable communities, both here in Roxbury and abroad.
Center for Appropriate Transportation
The CENTER FOR APPROPRIATE TRANSPORT (CAT) is a non-profit organization committed to community involvement in manufacturing, using,
and advocating sustainable modes of transportation. The first organization of its kind, the Center was founded in Eugene, Oregon in
the fall of 1992. Since that time we have established a number of projects under one roof designed to further this mission.
Carbusters
Carbusters Magazine is published four times a year by the World Carfree Network and produced by an international activist team in
Prague, Czech Republic. It is a 32-page print magazine critiquing our society's car culture and exploring positive alternatives.
Carbusters aims to serve as both an information source and a call to action, providing a full range of content from direct action
skills to the latest research developments, feature articles on topics ranging from Driving as Addiction to Ecocity Visions, world
news and even cartoons poking fun at the car and oil industries.
International Mountain Bike Association (I.M.B.A.)
The International Mountain Bicycling Association is a non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and
preserve trail opportunities for mountain bikers worldwide.
League of American Bicyclists
To promote bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation and work through advocacy and education for a bicycle-friendly America.
Salt Lake Bicycle Advisory
The Mayor's Bicycle Advisory Committee (MBAC) consists of dedicated residents and City employees working together to make Salt Lake
City more bicycle friendly. Residents serve on the committee on a volunteer basis; there are no formally appointed committee members.
Activities include a monthly meeting to discuss bicycling issues and organizing events for Bike Week in early May. The committee's
email list consists of over 150 participants and serves as the main outlet for bicycle advocacy information in the area. The MBAC
meets on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Room 335 on the 3rd floor of the City and County building
at 451 South State Street. All persons interested in making Salt Lake City more bicycle friendly are invited to attend and participate.
Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective
The mission of the Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective is to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation and
as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. The Bicycle Collective provides refurbished bicycles and educational
programs to the community, focusing on children and lower income households.

The Utah Bicycle Coalition (UBC) is a non-profit organization made up of recreational and commuter cyclists, bicycle manufactures and
retail shops, and transit advocates working to improve bicycling conditions throughout the State of Utah.

Transportation Alternatives is a 5500-member NYC-area non-profit citizens group working for better bicycling, walking and public
transit, and fewer cars. We work for safer, calmer streets and car-free parks.

Worldcarfree.net is a clearinghouse of information from around the world on how to revitalise our towns and cities and create a
sustainable future. In addition to serving the carfree movement, Worldcarfree.net offers resources for architects, planners,
teachers/professors, students, decision-makers and engaged citizens.
Critical Mass
The ".org" domain notwithstanding, Critical Mass is not an organization, it's an unorganized coincidence. It's a movement ... of
bicycles, in the streets. Accordingly, this isn't the official Critical Mass web page, because there is no official Critical Mass
web page. There are, however, a bunch of unofficial web pages.

The mission of Adventure Cycling Association is to inspire people of all ages to travel by bicycle. We help cyclists explore the
landscapes and history of America for fitness, fun, and self-discovery.
Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals
The Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals is a professional membership organization that promotes excellence in the
emerging professional discipline of pedestrian and bicycle transportation. APBP members are employees of all levels of government,
consulting firms and non-profits that work in the engineering, planning, landscape, architecture, police, safety, health, and
promotion fields and specialize in improving conditions for bicycling and walking.
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy
The mission of Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) is to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting
corridors to build healthier places for healthier people.
The Thunderhead Alliance
The Thunderhead Alliance is the national coalition of state and local bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organizations working in unison
to break down the barriers to safe bicycling and walking in North American communities. We bring leaders of our member organizations
together to help each other grow their organizations and become more effective.
America Bikes
Bicycling has tremendous potential to improve communities throughout the United States at a time of crippling highway congestion,
poor air quality, costly energy dependence, and a growing obesity epidemic due to physical inactivity. America Bikes believes
